Welcome to this incredible kitesurfing paradise island !!
The birth island of Alexander Hamilton, one of the founding fathers of the United States. The small sister island of St. Kitts, is one of the most versatile volcanic islands in the Caribbean. As inconspicuous as it seems, so varied are the possibilities you have.
Charlestown is the capital of the island, and its anchorage is in front of the beach of the Four Season Resort. Once at the dock of Charlestown, John, our taxi driver, is already waiting. He is available to us all day if we want and takes us everywhere. His motto: To blessed, to be stressed is written on his Taxi in big letters.
Particularly valuable: its many insider tips. E.g. Nevis Peak – a hike through a tropical jungle to „the source“, the source from which the island’s drinking water springs. If you don’t want to hike so far, you can also go hiking to the 7 waterfalls. Which is a great alternative!
Afterwards, lunch is recommended at the Hotel Golden Rock, a old sugar mill – truly the Garden of Eden live and in color! The botanical garden, which also exists on the island, can actually be skipped. And you can dine fantastically with a unique view of the Caribbean Sea.

On the way back, you will pass the Hot Springs, the hot water sources from the volcano. A „bath“ for the population was built here, in which you can „heal“ your sick or tired bones. After a long hike, a wonderful rest if you dare to climb into the hot water.
Finally, we go to a sunset beer in Little Pas‘ Bar directly on the dock. This has become our regular. Here you are always welcome and always meet interesting locals for a small or sometimes longer chat (several beers and rumpunches later..)

Once we get back to the boat with the dinghy to finally end the day satisfied and look forward to the next day on Nevis. This one is a highlight: kitesurfing! The kitesurf spot par excellence – The lost World – Wind and shallow water! Plenty of space to set up the kites in green gras under a palm tree. Launch the kite at the beach and enjoy clear flat water, protected from the reef, a magic playground for beginners and pro’s alike! surfing along a deserted beach, as wild as you can imagine, only palm trees and no people at all. This is the lost world.
